In 2011, the French games / gambling activities posted up to 11.4 billion Euros in bets, a record which is up by 8.5% every succeeding. With the crisis, the jackpot is attracting more and more players, and more are hoping that this could be the solution to the long term financial challenges that the majority has been facing.
In 2003, gambling activities such as the lottery attracted more customers and it has been won, resulting to the jackpot price going down once more. Still, this hasn’t stopped more people from hoping that one day, they could be the next millionaire. According to some statistics, there could be a thousand reasons why people get involved in gambling. Some of these people who are in the upper part of the society, “We have millions to gamble, and we won’t lose anything. In fact, we could even gain more by this entertaining activity.” This statement raised a lot of debates and even different issues.
On the other hand, people from the lower class have continuously participated in gambling activities such as lotteries, casino games like blackjack and scratch cards – this is because they have never lost hope and everyone has the mindset that maybe one day, everything that they’ve spent on these gambling related activities would pay off and would make them rich.
Up to date, there are 27 million individuals participating in gambling activities – and it has been said that the numbers will start to increase especially this year. There are different casino homes expanding their properties, and this could even attract more casino players eventually. But aside from which, the internet is also on the rise, and with the convenience offered by the World Wide Web, government officials think that this could be the start of the growth of their economy.
Over the years, many people have been questioning the legibility of online gambling websites. But the government couldn’t stop these sites, since they have already noticed a huge improvement in the economic growth. Plus, these huge websites operating online have adhered to the country’s rules and regulations in terms of online gambling as well.
This year, it has been found out that an estimated amount of 1 million customers or players would be joining more online gambling sites, aside from the physical casino establishments that could be seen within the city. The country doesn’t lack discipline – and there is no reason to stop these gambling activities unless there’s a valid reason stated.
